Have you ever had a teacher who made a lasting impression on you? Perhaps it was the way he conveyed the material or the PASSION he had for the subject matter? I've been fortunate enough to have had several. My mom's passion for photography led me to create a darkroom in a small space under our basement stairs when I was eighteen. I remember kneeling in the small space as I moved the photograph from tray to tray.

Another wonderful influence was my high school photography teacher who taught me how to look at life differently: the sheen of a hub cap on a car, the shadows on a face, the way the sun shines through the trees.

I have been taking portraits and studying photography for years. I am drawn to it, and now I am doing it professionally. I feel that God has led me back to it, like an old friend.

I love all types of photography, but I have a passion for black and white portraits because of the classic simplicity and old world charm. My areas of expertise are: Headshots, Couples, Small Weddings, Maternity, 50th wedding anniversaries, High School Seniors, and a mixture of the type of subjects you see on my website.

I photograph both outdoors as well as in my studio, located near County Line and University in Littleton, Colorado. I can offer black and white as well as color, casual as well as formal. During the 45 minute photo shoot, I can photograph up to 3 sub-groups for you (example: couple, family, kids). I place my proofs on a private website and can usually have your prints ready within 1-3 weeks after your orders are placed.
